Trump Drops F-Bombs during Nevada Speech

Real estate mogul Donald Trump served up a profanity laced speech to Republican supporters in Las Vegas Thursday night, attacking American policies and continuing his effort to run for the GOP presidential nomination. At a reception at the Treasure Island Casino, Trump announced that he is not the typical candidate to run for president but is still serious about a bid for the White House. Trump, will decide by June whether to run for president, also critized the price of oil in his remarks.

"They (OPEC) want to go in and raise the price of oil because we have nobody in Washington that sits back and says you're not going to raise that f-ing price, you understand me?" Trump said.

He also boiled down the war in Iraq for conservatives:

"We build a school, we build a road. They blow up the road. They blow up the school. We build another school, we build another road, they blow them up," Trump said. "We build again, in the meantime we can't get a f-king school built in Brooklyn."

Nevada may have an influential role in shaping the race for the GOP presidential nomination.

Independent Groups backing up Obama's re-elect

Democrats with strong ties to Obama are unveiling a double-fisted fundraising push to counter an expected tidal wave of money from independent GOP-leaning groups in the 2012 battle for the White House. Organizers say the two groups launched Friday, Priorities USA and Priorities USA Action,  aim to raise a combined $100 million to defend the president from what they say will be a flood of attack ads from similar independent groups on the Republican side.
"This is an effort to level the playing field. Americans deserve an honest debate about job creation, the economy, national security and education. That debate will never happen if only right wing extremists are engaged on the battlefield," says Sean Sweeney, one of the two organization's senior strategists.

While Republican-leaning groups took the lead in last year's midterm contests, Democratic-leaning groups appear to be catching up this year, with the recent creation of organizations to help defend the party's Senate majority and to help try and recapture control of the House.

Obama visits Alabama Tornado Aftermath

President Barack Obama toured rubble-strewn Tuscaloosa neighborhoods on Friday, declaring the devastation brought by a series of powerful storms and tornadoes was beyond anything he had ever seen.

"We're going to do everything we can to help these communities rebuild," he said.

The storms killed at least 316 people in Six Southern States and left entire neighborhoods in ruins. Obama promised expedited federal aid to states affected by the tornadoes. Obama's motorcade passed street after street of homes reduced to splinters, crushed and flipped cars and widespread debris on the way to his first stop to visit with families affected by the storms, which pounded the region Wednesday and Thursday.

"I've gotta say I've never seen devastation like this," he told reporters.

In that period, 148 tornadoes were reported in 13 states, and 330 people died. States affected were Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Obama Collects the Big $$ in NYC

On Wednesday, September 27th, 2011, Obama headed to New York City to headline three fundraisers.
The first gathering is a dinner at the home of Jon Corzine, the former governor and senator from New Jersey. The second event is a dinner at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. A Democratic source with knowledge of the events says there will be approximately 400 people at the first two events. After the two dinners, the president heads to the Town Hall, a theater hall in midtown Manhattan. Approximately 1,300 guests are expected to attend the third event, with The Roots, a hip hop/neo soul band, performing.

"The events are designed to include the broad range of the president's supporters with tickets starting at $44 and ranging to the legal maximum limit of $35,800," the source tells CNN.

All of the money raised is expected to be contributed to the Obama Victory Fund, which is split between the presidents re-election compaign and the Democratic National Committee. These event bring to an end the President's first round of headlining fundraisers. Obama announced on April 4th that he was setting up his re-eleciton campaign.

Now They Want His Academic Records?

Early this week, President Obama felt obligated to hold a conference to present his true birth certificate and put an end to this "birther claim" that has been resurrected by Donald Trump, however, it doesn't end there. In a press conference on Wednesday, Donald Trump now wants President Obama to release his academic records. Standing on a tarmac Wednesday in New Hampshire, Trump said "word is he (Obama) wasn't a very good student."
Several Americans, including myself, believe all of this slander is just plain nonsense. He is the President of the United States and very intelligent man, this should not even be a debate. Many others believes all of Trump's comments and suggestions recently are coded racism. President Obama should ignore this uproar in the media regarding Donald Trump that is idiotic and deal with our economic stability and international affairs.

Trump May Be DONE!

"CNN did a poll recently where President Obama and I are statistically tied," Trump told reporters Wednesday morning upon arriving in New Hampshire. "If you would like, I can send it to you. Call up CNN."

CNN has claimed they never even conducted such a poll! CNN has not conducted any hypothetical Obama-Trump general election matchup polls. But earlier this month CNN conducted a survey which indicated that Trump was tied with Huckabee for first place in the battle for the GOP presidential nomination, among Republican and independent voters who lean Republican.
Trump's unreliable information and sources continue to weaken his political campaign. As he continues his Trump towards presidency, he only seems to be losing followers and embarrassing himself in the media. His recent speeches have merely been attacks against Obama's birth certificate and college transcripts. I have heard very little about Trump's policies and decisions as a political candidate. So I think America really wants to know one thing. Why should we vote for you?

Truth Behind Trump's Remarks

In a recent interview with James Carville, a respected CNN political strategist, Republican candidate Donald Trump claimed all of his attacks against Obama's birth certificate claim were to simply get Obama to do one thing, show us his real birth certificate. During his news conference this morning he gained a lot of much needed political grounds on issues such as China and Serbia. However, this little "Trump Trick" has only proved that Donald Trump is not a suitable candidate for any political party.
Although the president did appear personally to present his birth certificate to the American public, the scheme had to be the most idiotic issue in the history of politics. Amongst the multitude of serious issues facing our economy coming out of a recession, it is absurd that the Administration had to even take time to deal with this matter. This little hoax proves two things: Donald Trump is a joke for candidacy and people focus to much of there time of unimportant political media.
